Our Client is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent for the construction of exciting multi-family housing projects, including mid-rise and garden-style apartments, affordable housing, senior living, student housing, and/or hospitality projects. The individual will work with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the efforts of multiple trades.
- Conduct project inspections and complete daily reports.
- Assist with project schedule, monitoring progress of work, and notifying Superintendent of any delays.
- Coordinate with City officials.
- Review project punchlist and oversee completion of all project disciplines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent, preferably in multi-family and/or hospitality construction.
- College education a plus.
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, safety, methods, etc.).
- Knowledge of the local market preferred.
- Strong management skills and ability to work productively with others and foster solid client relationships.
- Ability to identify, investigate and quantify project problems and corresponding alternatives and consequences.
- Effective oral and written communications.
- Ability to use construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
- Ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
